Linda Campbell

Linda Campbell graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work (First Class Honours) from the University of New South Wales in 1990. Linda worked for the NSW Department of Family and Community Services for over 20 years. During this time she held casework and senior management positions across metropolitan, rural and remote NSW. Linda has extensive experience in working with clients whose children are at varying levels of risk due to such things as parental mental health issues, substance abuse problems and in situations were there are high degrees of family violence.

In 2007 Linda was instrumental in setting up the first specialist team in FACS to respond to children and young people with high and complex needs in out of home care. This was based around a clinical model of intensive outcome based casework intervention and support, working closely with child psychiatrists, psychologists and other professionals in a strengths-based framework.

In 2010 Linda began working as a Family Consultant, using her expertise and experience garnered in her child protection career to bring a highly specialised focus to assessments of children and families in the family law context.

Linda’s practice focuses on the preparation of comprehensive, outcome focused and strengths based Family Reports and the provision of therapeutic child inclusive mediation services to families who are seeking to resolve parenting issues in a collaborative, child centered framework.
